The Flower Studio & Café at Huntington House is due to open in December. Run by Marilyn Hoare (Mal) and Rowena Kelly (Row), it is located in the stable block next to the tennis court. Residents and their families and friends are very welcome to watch Row's magnificent floral displays being created, have a coffee, and even try their hand at some flower arranging.

Geoffrey Hoare (Geoff) will shortly being organising guided tours of the Huntington House grounds for those who are interested in Victorian Garden history, and would like to share in discovering 'The Lost Gardens of Huntington'!

Charlie and Sarah Hoare have both graduated from university this year and are getting increasingly involved in life at Huntington House. Charlie has taken all the photos for this website, and will be creating new menus and brochures in the near future. Sarah is combining working on reception at Huntington House with undertaking a Pitman Training Diploma in Business IT with Marketing & PR in London.

We are currently sourcing our own label wines. When we have been successful it will be the perfect excuse for a wine-tasting evening.

Events

Summer Events included Champagne & Strawberries on Wimbledon Finals Day, and a Garden Party with Jazz Band.

Autumn Events included a November 5th Bonfire Party, and a Remembrance Day Service.

Still to come in 2007: Performance by the Apres Midi Quartet, trips to the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum and the new Glasshouse at RHS Gardens Wisley, and to celebrate Christmas, a Carol Concert, a Pantomime and a Christmas Party.
